What SIM card does the Funkyfing Jr1 need?
Funkyfing Jr1 uses a nanosim and works with local networks like Vodacom, MTN, Telkom and Cell C. Just pop one in, and you’re ready to go!
How can I check my balance on Funkyfing Jr1?
Easy! Go to the Phone section on the watch, open the dial pad, and type the code for your network (like *135# for Vodacom). It’s as simple as that!
Why won’t my watch turn off?
It might be because of the "Disable shutdown" feature. You can ask a parent to turn it off in the app under "Device Settings" to let the watch power down.
Why won’t the watch charge?
Here are some things to check:
The battery might be completely empty, so try charging it for 15 minutes before checking.
Make sure you’re using the regular charger that came with Funkyfing Jr1.
If the charging parts look a bit dirty, clean them gently!
Ensure the charging cable is connected just right.
Double-check that the charger or power source is working well.
If it still doesn’t work, reach out to customer support for help!
How long does it take to fully charge the watch?
Usually, Funkyfing Jr1 takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to be fully charged and ready to go!
How can I make the battery last longer?
Ensure the watch firmware is up to date then you can turn on the "Saving Power" mode in the "More" section of the App. Remember, the lower positioning frequency of the location mode, the longer the battery life. This can also come in handy when you are low on power!
How do I set the date and time on the watch?
The date and time will automatically sync when you add a SIM card. Or, if you connect the watch to the app, you can adjust it there too!
Why doesn’t the watch ring for calls, or why can’t I hear sounds?
Check the volume settings under "Volume Settings" in the app. If everything’s set right but there’s still no sound, contact customer support.
Can I wear the watch in water?
Funkyfing Jr1 is splash-friendly! You can wear it for daily activities like washing your hands, but it’s not for swimming or diving.
Why does the watch show a high-temperature warning?
If Funkyfing Jr1 gets too hot, it’ll show a warning and may stop charging to cool down. Don’t worry – it’s just keeping itself safe!
What special modes does the watch have?
High-Temperature Mode: If the watch gets too warm, it’ll suggest taking a short break.
Reserve Battery Mode: This mode helps save power when the battery is low, so you can still make calls.
How many contacts can I add to Funkyfing Jr1?
You can add up to 15 contacts, with 3 of them as emergency contacts!
Can kids send photos to parents?
Yes! You can send photos to your parents through the Secure Messaging Center in the app.
Can I set up a family group chat if we have just one Funkyfing Jr1?
Absolutely! You can create a family group chat in the app, even if there’s just one Funkyfing Jr1. Family members can join and chat with you through the app
How do I add more people to connect with the watch?
Your parent or guardian which is the admin user can invite others through the Lagenio app. Once invited, the main guardian approves the new contacts, keeping things safe and secure.
Will my child see messages I send during Class mode?
Nope! Messages sent during Class mode will be there after the mode is turned off, so no distractions during focus time.
Can Funkyfing Jr1 download apps like WhatsApp or Facebook?
No, Funkyfing Jr1 doesn’t use the internet or allow third-party apps. This keeps things safe and secure, focusing only on the basics for staying connected.
App Questions
Below are some of are common questions about apps.
Is the app compatible with Android and iOS?
Yes! The Lagenio app works on both Android and iOS devices.
How do I connect (bind) the watch to the app?
Insert a SIM card, then go to the Bind menu on the watch. Use the code provided or scan it in the app to connect.
Why can’t I get the verification code when signing up with an email?
Make sure your email is correct and check your spam folder. Sometimes, it just needs a refresh!
Why can’t I log in after registering?
Ensure you’re using the right email and password. If your account was made in a different region, it won’t work across regions.For example, if you registered in the Asia region, you cannot log in with the same account in the Europe region.
How can family members manage the watch together?
The admin user can share access by generating a QR code in the app for other family members to scan and request access.
Why am I not getting notifications?
Check if you allowed notifications and background running in the app. Opening the app regularly also helps keep notifications on track!
Why can’t I record or hear audio in voice chat?
Ensure the app has microphone permissions. If that doesn’t help, try reinstalling the app and allowing permissions again.
Why can’t I see my child’s chat history?
To protect kids’ privacy, Funkyfing Jr1 doesn’t show chat histories to parents.
Why don’t I receive voice or video call notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled and open the app regularly to prevent any issues.
How long can video calls last?
Video calls can go up to 5 minutes to prevent the watch from getting too warm.
Why does the watch sometimes show as offline when trying to locate it?
It could be out of power, out of network range, or in a place with weak signal. Try calling the watch or check if it’s in low battery mode.
Why isn’t the location always accurate?
The watch uses GPS, WiFi, and cellular towers for positioning. Accuracy varies based on the environment:
1. Wi-Fi Location: The watch first attempts to locate the nearest Wi-Fi devices, including both public and private networks, to quickly determine its location. The accuracy in this mode ranges from 450m.
2. GPS Signal: If Wi-Fi signals are weak or unavailable, the watch switches to GPS tracking, offering a higher accuracy range of 10m. However, GPS can consume more battery and may not work well indoors or in areas with obstructions.
3. Cellular Tower Signal: When neither Wi-Fi nor GPS signals are available, Funkyfing Jr1 uses the nearest cellular tower signal for location tracking. The accuracy in this mode can vary widely, from 550m +, depending on the distance to the cellular tower.
This multi-technology approach ensures that Funkyfing1 can provide reliable location tracking in various environments.Please note that the watch cannot be located when turned off or without a network connection
Can the watch be tracked during school mode?
Yes! Even in school mode, location tracking stays active to keep your child safe.

When can I place an order on the website?
Anytime, anywhere! We accept orders 24/7, but deliveries happen only on weekdays between 08:00 - 17:00 in South Africa.
How do I track my order online?
Once your order has been placed, we will send you a confirmation email updating you on the status of your order.
